The Burlington Arcade, a High Profile retail-shopping arcade in London has purchased iSentry after the live trials highlighted events defined in the trial mandate.
The Burling arcade management has a number of unique issues to deal with in that the arcade is not a closed building like a normal shop or shopping centre. They must be able to spot unusual behavior early and react quickly. On one occasion the system highlighted a shopper falling near one of the entrances and whilst this is not necessarily a security issues it certainly is a health and safety issue and prompt attention from the management meant that the shopper received immediate attention and assured the shoppers that the security team were aware and in control.
